Braces
Metal braces are the most predictable. Self-ligating braces hold the wire without elastic ties and need fewer adjustments. Ceramic braces are tooth coloured and much less visible at conversational distance.
Clear aligners
A series of removable trays, each moving the teeth a little further than the last. They come out for meals and photographs, which is why most adults ask about them first. They only work while they are in, which is the one thing worth knowing before choosing them.
How long
That depends entirely on your teeth, and we will tell you at the start rather than at the end. Reviews are monthly and the appointments are short. Retention is planned in from the beginning, because teeth that are not retained drift back.
