Frenectomy to release a tight frenum, operculectomy to remove the flap of gum over a partly erupted tooth, apicectomy to treat the tip of a root, cyst enucleation, mucocele removal, biopsy, alveoloplasty to smooth a ridge, and drainage of an abscess.
Classic and laser
Several of these can be done conventionally or with a laser. The laser version usually means less bleeding and a quieter recovery; the conventional version suits other cases better. We will tell you which yours is and why.
